Where has all the time gone?

Wow!  It has been some time since I posted last...DFW Reader, thank you for your note of concern.  All is well here in Casa Blondie, just things have been very busy!

September found me with guests galore: my Dad and his travel companion, who live in San Antonio,  came to DC for a week--it was great to have the old man on the East Coast again.  My sister-in-law, Jackie, blew into town for a quick visit; I was able to watch Margo, my nationally-ranked goalie niece play field hockey at American University; my son and his best friend came for the weekend; I just got back from seeing my other niece at Virginia Military Institute for Parents Weekend...and I had to fly a little in there, as well!

Love the bagpipes!

VMI cadets marching down to the football field

It is seriously impressive when all 1500 cadets
are all in formation on the football field!

And the happy family news: my middle daughter, Casey, is planning
her wedding for next August.  We've been meeting with florists and
caterers and reception halls.  Her fiance, Matt, asked her to marry him
at a Tides game, with this baseball.  This is one of
their engagement pictures.

  6. We're getting married on the 13th. We really wanted the 20th, but our venue didn't have it available.
