Let me eat cake!
My dear, sweet friend Taneesha called me while I was driving home after finishing up my trip. Could she stop by and drop something off, she wanted to know.A short while later, she appeared at my door with a huge box--and inside was this fantastic, blue-ribbon cake she made, just for me:
I have to 'splain--everytime she has stayed at my house, I have had fresh watermelon sliced up and we both eat it like hungry teenagers!
Look at the details....it even has sparklies on it! Tomorrow, the Most Amazing Child on the Planet will be here--and we'll cut it then.
My girl made me cry!! To have spent so much time and effort on my behalf--WOW!!
The cake is beautiful--but, not nearly as beautiful as Taneesha is!

ReplyIn spite of the tail end of your trip, I hope your special day was as special as you are. Love you!
