Two day trip, San Diego layover
I broke the Internet last week...well, at least my little portion of it. There are a few things that I just shouldn't do, like paint my own nails, home repair and messing with Internet settings. I'm sorry if you stopped by and no one was home....
I started five days on Reserve today. The Voice called me last night at around 10 p.m. to give me a trip with a 6:45 a.m. sign-in. My trip looks like this:
67D 25 IADORD 0800 0859
20B 25 ORDSAN 1035 1245 1743
57Q 26 SANDEN 0628 0952
19J 26 DENIAH 1235 1601
19J 26 IAHIAD 1650 2057
TOTAL TIME 1422 TMA 3842
M-MEAL BOARDED- 25 ORD
I'm flying with two guys for the whole trip--Jason and Armando, who is the Purser. For the first leg we also had four Flight Attendants from other bases, and it will be just the three of us on the Airbus to SAN (San Diego). We just brought a 767 into Chicago (ORD) and our flight to SAN is delayed. You know what that means, right? Yep, my 17.43 hour layover just got shorter...
Lucky for Jason and me--we will be working the back. I worked the first leg in First Class with Armando--nice, nice guy, but he loves to talk. And hear himself talk. And make announcements--lots and lots of announcements. Then, he talks some more. About himself. It's exhausting, and we've only been together for two hours today...
