Where should we stay?

Shelby and I are trying to weed through all the apartments for rent in Buenos Aires for our trip next week--some of them are so beautiful and the price is right in Argentina these days. We want to stay in Recoleta/Palermo and maybe Puerto Madera. Anyone have any tips?
