Where has all the time gone?

Wow!  It has been some time since I posted last...DFW Reader, thank you for your note of concern.  All is well here in Casa Blondie, just things have been very busy!

September found me with guests galore: my Dad and his travel companion, who live in San Antonio,  came to DC for a week--it was great to have the old man on the East Coast again.  My sister-in-law, Jackie, blew into town for a quick visit; I was able to watch Margo, my nationally-ranked goalie niece play field hockey at American University; my son and his best friend came for the weekend; I just got back from seeing my other niece at Virginia Military Institute for Parents Weekend...and I had to fly a little in there, as well!

It is seriously impressive when all 1500 cadets are all in formation on the football field!

And the happy family news: my middle daughter, Casey, is planning her wedding for next August.  We've been meeting with florists and caterers and reception halls.  Her fiance, Matt, asked her to marry him at a Tides game, with this baseball.  This is one of their engagement pictures.
