Celebrity Onboard!
Just finished a two day trip late. We had a layover in Ontario, CA and worked our way back to Baltimore (BWI) through Denver (DEN). On our leg to Denver, we had a celebrity onboard: Smokin' Joe Frazier! He was fun and full of himself and so generous with his private time! He gave us all an autographed picture and allowed us to take pictures with him. What a great spirit--it was such a pleasure to have him onboard with us!

ReplyThe guys on the whole plane were FREAKING OUT. It was so awesome to see old business men being brought to shaky knees to meet one of their idols.
I do have to admit, I am a little young, so I didn't recognize (or know who he was), but as soon as someone started the story, I knew right away. :)
Brit--you know the George Forman grill? Well, George used to be a boxer, too, around the same time as Joe Frazier, and Mohammed Ali. Only, Joe and Ali didn't make a mint on a kitchen product!

I work in the same office as Joe Frazier's nephew at the Postal Service. They are a wonderful and spiritual family. Joe has come to Tampa to visit his family on numerous occasions and is a true gentleman.
